In August 2006 the group was formed by 3 MGF owning friends. Fed up with everything seemingly geared up for Southern enthusiasts and nothing happening much in the North West, the group was launched. Over the years, the group has been kept deliberately small so that costs, administration and politics were kept to an absolute minimum and the focus firmly fixed on friendship. Many years on, that original ethos remains the same.

We meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month at the Blue Cap pub, Sandiway, Near Northwich in Cheshire, for a drink and a chat (not just about cars !). We also like to arrange our own runs and attend a variety of events including classic car shows, throughout the North West. As a not for profit group we don't have joining fees, membership subscriptions or ask for any other financial obligation. Not got an MGF or TF ? No problem, if you are looking to buy one or just an enthusiast of the MG brand. You are still welcome to join us. Just to set the record straight we don't bang on about pistons and exhausts etc. we are also not just men only, in fact we have several lady members whom enjoy attending our meets and runs.
